Donation information available with GoFundMe Giving Fund (GFGF)
When your nonprofit receives a grant from the GoFundMe Giving Fund, the following details may be included:
Grant amount–The total value of the donation
Disbursement date–When the funds were sent (typically by mailed check or ACH transfer)
Donor name and email address–Only if the donor chooses to share that information
Any donor message–If the donor included a note or designation with their grant recommendation
Donors have the option to give anonymously, so in some cases you may receive a grant without any identifying information.
How does my nonprofit receive donation information?
GFGF uses the contact details listed in public nonprofit databases (like IRS records or Guidestar/Candid) to send disbursement information. If your organization’s contact or mailing information is outdated, we recommend reaching out to our team to update it.
How are grants delivered?
Grants are delivered via:
Check–Mailed to your official address on file
Electronic payment–If there is verified banking information for your organization
Email notification–Sent to your organization’s primary contact (if available)
Can I see a history of past grants?
At this time, nonprofits do not have access to a self-service dashboard to view past GFGF grants. If you need help tracking a specific donation or confirming past disbursements, our team is happy to assist.
