How to open a DAF account: Create a GoFundMe Giving Fund account

Creating a GoFundMe Giving Fund (GFGF) account is quick and easy. Follow the steps below to set up your account and link a payment method so you’re ready to make your first contribution.

1. Go to gofundme.com and select “Giving Funds” at the top of the page.
2. Enter your email address and create a password. If you already have a GoFundMe account, just sign in with your existing credentials.
3. Once you're signed in, select “Get Started”. 
4. Click “Add Funds” to connect a payment method.
5. Select either “Bank account” or “Debit or credit card”. If you choose a bank account, you’ll be guided through a secure setup using Plaid. (Other ways to contribute will be added at a later date.) Note: When using a credit card, fees may apply.
6. You’ve successfully opened your GoFundMe Giving Fund account and linked it to a payment method! You’re now ready to make your first contribution and support a charitable organization that matters to you.
