Deleting your GoFundMe Giving Fund Account

Follow these steps to delete your account:

1. Log into your GoFundMe account
2. Go to "Settings" in the top right menu
3. Select the "Your Giving Fund" tab
4. Select the "Delete Giving Fund" button
5. Check the box to confirm you want to delete your account and understand how any remaining funds will be used
6. Then select "Delete Giving Fund" to delete your account

What happens to funds left in your Giving Fund?

If you close your GoFundMe Giving Fund (GFGF) account and have not recommended grants for all of your contributed funds :

• GFGF will continue to hold and manage your remaining balance.
• GFGF will ask you to recommend donations for all remaining balances, less any applicable fees, and if possible, the balance will be distributed to recommended recipients.
• If for some reason the recommendation cannot be approved, GFGF will transfer the remaining balance of your account into GoFundMe Giving Fund’s Board-designed account to be used for charitable purposes at the discretion of the Board.
• Please remember, any contributions made to your Giving Fund are irrevocable, and unused funds cannot be returned or refunded.
