Adding a beneficiary to your GoFundMe Giving Funds account

GoFundMe Giving Funds account holders can recommend a successor advisor, or someone to assume advisory privileges on their Giving Fund account in the event that they pass away or become incapacitated.

This successor advisor will have the ability to grant funds still in the account to a registered 501(c)(3) charity of their choice. They can also choose to leave or invest the funds to grant at a later date.

To add a successor advisor, the account holder will need to provide this information about the successor:

  • Full name
  • Phone number
  • Email address
  • Mailing address
